The Challenge
Our partnership with LGCM began in 2012 with a website redesign to update the overall image of and consistent messaging across various digital channels. Late fall of 2013,during a monthly strategy session, it was decided that we would rebuild the website on a new platform to better meet the evolving business development initiatives.
The Solution
Unique and valuable content, such as recipes, wine reviews, events—among others—were originally buried in the “blog” section of the website. As these were a core part of the content strategy, we pulled these to the front to improve their overall visibility for users and search engines. Additionally, we created a responsive, mobile friendly platform that helped cater to their growing mobile user base.

The Results
LGCM really “gets” digital marketing. Due to our ongoing partnership, they have been able to realize a 100%+ increase in traffic, a steady increase in social engagement, and an overall clearer view of how they can—and should—approach their digital marketing. However, this is still just the beginning.
Though nothing really changed from a visual perspective, the results of the move due to the technical, behind-the-scenes changes were drastic:
- 150%+ increase in overall traffic to the website
- 110% increase in organic traffic for recipes
- over 81% increase in organic search traffic
Other improvements:
- we implemented an events calendar to drive local traffic from social and other channels, which helped to increase overall brand recognition & awareness
- we created dedicated landing pages, which allowed LGCM to have the ability to run future sales and promotions with clear and concise calls to action
- agile promotional development based on promotions throughout the year, such as an Advent calendar for Christmas
