Green Lake Swimming Areas

Find your swimming hole!

Green Lake has three swimming areas. Playground equipment, fishing, outdoor grills, restrooms and large open areas will greet you at many of the parks. Pack your cooler and pick a spot for a quiet lunch or get-together.

Dodge Memorial Park

(also known as County Park)
Located at the Southwest end of Green Lake Boat launch, swimming beach, snack bar, restrooms, picnic area, pier. This park offers the best "beach experience". Shallow sandy bottom. Plenty of sand for kids to play. A large picnic area.

Sunset Park

Located at the East end of Green Lake on County Trunk A. Boat launch, swimming area (no lifeguard), restrooms, picnic area, pier. This is a popular area of the lake for water skiing and tubing because of the shallow, sandy bottom.

Hattie Sherwood Park

Located on South Lawson Drive on the north lakeshore. Sand swimming beach, raft, fishing, pier, restrooms, camping.
